Job Summary
Conduct environmental site assessments, remedial design, and solid waste construction support on multi-disciplinary projects while interpreting data against local, state, and federal regulations. Propose analytical methods, detect procedural issues, and draw conclusions to ensure compliance. Perform field and office duties with potential for growth under the oversight of experienced engineers and scientists. Requires 50%+ travel and regional day travel; candidate must be available for extended hours. Full-time, fully remote role in Denver, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental sciences or engineering or other related fields
- 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education
- Valid driver's license
- Subject to a pre-employment Background check
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
- US Citizenship or a permanent resident
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in sometimes challenging conditions
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to learn and rapidly master new tasks
- Scientific research and report writing (including web based research)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong quality and time management
- Self-starter, develops and delivers work under own initiative
- Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work
- Seeking professional certifications
- 40hr OSHA HAZWOPER certificate
- Microsoft Office, AutoCADD, GIS applications
- Flexible with working extended hours and locations
- Travel may be greater than 50 percent of time
- Must be able to do day travel regionally
- Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
