Sr. Entitlements Manager

Job Summary
Manage and direct all aspects of obtaining entitlements, plan approvals, and permits for new residential communities, including tentative and final maps, agency presentations, and required local jurisdiction permits. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and private/public agencies to execute community development schedules and resolve resolution areas. Supervise consultant and trade partner activities while assisting in due diligence for potential land acquisitions and supporting Operations Department needs. Liaise between internal departments and external partners to exchange information and ensure adherence to development timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in community entitlement and homebuilding process
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines concurrently
- Accept constructive feedback
- Team player
- Ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to read plans
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to use, download, or access certain Company-approved tools, programs, applications, or systems
Desired Qualifications
- Some public agency experience
- Bachelor's Degree, in the field of construction management, urban design, business, engineering or related course study or equivalent years of experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
- Smart Sheet experience
