Job Summary
Design, plan, and implement integration solutions using IBM MFT Suite, including Sterling File Gateway and B2B Integrator. Review assigned file transmission requests, configure standard solutions, and securely exchange data following corporate standards to minimize unauthorized access risks. Troubleshoot and correct problems with existing automation, remediate unsuccessful file movements, and verify completion of automated transfers. Provide Tier 3 support for managed file transfer systems, assist leadership with file movement strategies, and consult on analytic capabilities to mature enterprise data movement vision. Collaborate with business lines, vendors, and the development architecture team to evaluate technologies, establish SLAs, and implement clustered environments for high availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
- 8+ years of systems development, testing and/or business experience
- 8+ years of work experience with data transfer tools, specifically IBM Sterling File Transfer products
- 8+ years of Hands on experience with BPML and shell/Python/Powershell scripting
- 5+ years of experience with other MFT platforms such as Go Anywhere or Globalscape
- Proficiency in building services, adapters and configuring property files to implement file transfer solutions
- Experience in file transfer protocol – SSH/SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, Connect Direct etc
- Experience establishing SLAs and availability goals to meet business requirements and budget constraints
- Experience in installation and maintenance of a clustered environment for high availability
- Expertise on Windows platforms and writing command scripts
- Expertise on building the out of box reports and custom reports on IBM control center and Sterling File Gateway/Sterling Integrator
