Job Summary

Develop and maintain enterprise architectures aligning cloud, cybersecurity, data, applications, and operational capabilities with government organizational objectives. Define enterprise cloud architecture patterns for Microsoft Azure, hybrid, and on-premises environments while establishing governance processes, technical review boards, and decision frameworks. Incorporate Zero Trust principles, identity-centric security, and network segmentation into designs. Evaluate complex technical requirements to develop integrated architectures spanning DevSecOps, identity, applications, and enterprise services. Assess legacy systems to develop modernization strategies leveraging cloud-native services, Infrastructure as Code, and automation. Partner with client leadership, program management, and engineering teams to translate business and security requirements into cohesive technology solutions. Requires an Active Secret security clearance, 15+ years of enterprise IT experience, and strong executive communication skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT, systems engineering, cloud architecture, solution architecture, or related technical disciplines
  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale architectures across cloud, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, applications, or data environments
  • Strong experience architecting Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments, including compute, networking, identity, storage, security, monitoring, and platform services
  • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, target-state architectures, reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and modernization plans
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture, Azure Landing Zones, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure networking, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and enterprise governance
  • Experience designing architectures incorporating Zero Trust, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, automation, API integration, containerization, and cloud-native technologies
  • Experience supporting large enterprise, public sector, or regulated environments and developing architectures aligned with NIST, RMF, security authorization, and applicable compliance requirements
  • Experience evaluating technology alternatives, architectural tradeoffs, technical risks, interoperability requirements, and lifecycle considerations across complex enterprise environments
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for client and organizational leadership, program management, and engineering teams
