Sr. Enterprise Account Manager, Aviation

Job Summary
Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic Enterprise Aviation customers, owning the interface from contract signature through successful activation. Build relationships with executive stakeholders to identify requirements, manage expectations, and drive revenue realization. Collect, communicate, and champion customer feedback internally to influence programmatic and technical development. Deliver impeccable customer service, including efficient issue acknowledgement and resolution, while retaining and growing value in both hardware and service revenue. Act as an extreme owner of assigned accounts to realize forecasted revenue on or ahead of schedule, identifying and communicating readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks. Identify and lead implementation of process and system enhancements to improve handoffs, evolve the customer experience, or scale the business while balancing resources. This role supports Starlink's enterprise customer base within SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
- high school diploma/equivalency certificate and 8+ years of professional business development, program management, sales or account management experience
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations shifts
- Availability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as needed to customer sites/meetings
- This is NOT a remote position and would require relocation if not local to the Woodinville, WA, Redmond, WA, Hawthorne, CA, or Bastrop, TX area
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to interact with all levels within airline management on technical and account management issues
- Significant knowledge or experience in commercial and/or business aviation, satellite communications, and program or account management
- Experience working with the FAA, EASA, or other aerospace regulatory bodies
- Experience managing multiple complex projects and delivering under tight deadlines and resource constraints
- Experience building long-term and successful customer relationships demonstrating empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills
- Ability to synthesize multiple unique requirements and suggest smart solutions, products, or features
- Track record of demonstrating sound business judgment, evaluating alternatives, and making recommendations that were adopted and ultimately successful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft and present professional presentations at all levels
- Ability to manage execution of significant or complex contracts, including initial intake, renegotiation of terms, and schedules. Especially after a contract is signed
