Job Summary
Sr Engineering Project Manager for Engineering Design Company focusing on Data Centers and Critical Facilities. Lead and manage engineering and design of facility/building systems, oversee project lifecycle (design, QC, staffing, budget/P&L), interface with clients, develop proposals (RFPs), facilitate client meetings, track progress and costs, manage project team, and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure adherence to company policies and market strategy. Strong emphasis on client relationship management, reporting, and business development in the data center/critical facilities sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / or Architecture (MUST)
- P.E. license / AIA - either have these certs or working towards it
- PMP certification a plus
- Hands on experience managing Data Centers / Critical Facilities Design Projects
- Familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Experience managing engineering projects in the engineering consulting industry, A/E, MEP arena
- Project management experience in the Consulting Engineering Industry
- Client relationship / Client Management / Client Engagement / Business Development - creating RFPs
- Effective Communicator - emails, phone, meetings
- Computer savvy / Microsoft Project, Excel. Ability to create complex reports, forecast modeling
- Previous experience in the Military / Military veterans in all branches (plus)
