Job Summary
Manage the backend engineering team responsible for Deuna's integrations with hundreds of merchants and global payments providers. Design and maintain scalable services while driving efficiency for accurate costing and delivery of initiatives. Coach and mentor technical leads and engineering managers to foster a low-tech-debt, highly innovative organization. Deliver high availability and reliable systems while developing individuals and navigating day-to-day organizational challenges.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience building backend systems at scale
- Experience in fintech and payments space
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Ability to be a great mentor
- Experience building teams and developing individuals
- Experience delivering high availability, reliable systems
- Experience delivering systems efficiently
- Ability to navigate day to day situations
