Sr. Engineer Wet Seal Systems (Pre Order)

Job Summary

Interpret project specifications for mechanical design, instruments, and pressure vessels; prepare P&ID diagrams, control narratives, and techno-commercial proposals for global strategic projects. Manage supplier quotes, validate manufacturability, and deliver competitive offers while leading technical reviews with customers and EPCs. Mentor less experienced engineers, develop processes, and support VAVE and new product development initiatives. Handover aligned project scopes to execution teams and maintain activity logs to drive standardization and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Chemical/Instrumentation)
  • 8 + years' experience in technology development, engineering, or similar functions
  • Thorough knowledge in interpretation of customer and project specification (OEM, EPC and End user)
  • Strong application and detailed engineering knowledge of mechanical seal Support Systems (API –Piping Plans) or similar fluid control systems products (like Lube oil Consoles or Oil Lubricating Systems or Pre-jacking systems, HP-LP systems or Filtration units etc,) for applications in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, Steel, Chemical industries
  • Working knowledge with API 682, API 610, API 614, ASME / ANSI Piping and pressure vessels standards
  • Knowledge of Electrical Enclosures for Hazardous Area Classification and Mechanical Protection requirements
  • Work experience in Pumps and Compressors skids engineering
  • Functional experience in basic CAD tool (like Solid Edge)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing, vendor quote alignment (Techno-commercial)
  • Experience in piping equipment fabrication supervision or quality management
  • Hands on experience in selection of Pressure, Level & Temperature instruments and preparation of Instrument specifications
  • Work experience in Pumps and Compressors skids engineering will be an added advantage
  • Experience in piping equipment fabrication supervision or quality management will be an added advantage
  • Hands on experience in selection of Pressure, Level & Temperature instruments and preparation of Instrument specifications are preferred
  • Working knowledge with API 682, API 610, API 614, ASME / ANSI Piping and pressure vessels standards are preferable
