Job Summary
Conduct characterization of process optimization strategies and troubleshoot operational issues across operations, manufacturing, pilot plant, or capital projects environments. Develop engineering policies and procedures affecting multiple organizational units while supervising a small staff of engineers, associates, and technicians. Apply advanced engineering principles to design major system modifications and experiments, interpreting results for projects of significant scope and complexity. Coordinate work with consultants, architects, and engineering firms to develop standard design documents within schedule, budget, and quality constraints. Manage departmental or project budgets encompassing multiple disciplines and lead negotiations, persuasion, and conflict resolution for contractor and vendor management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5 years of Engineering experience
- Master's degree in Engineering
- 2 years of Engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering

- Knowledge in Packaging equipment
- Knowledge in Design of new equipment process
- Knowledge in Engineering Project
- Knowledge in Validations
- Experience in Medical Device or Pharma
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes
- Familiarity with validation processes
- Familiarity with documentation in a highly regulated environment
- Ability to interpret and apply GLPs and GMPs
- Ability to apply engineering science to production
- Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope
