Job Summary
Lead the design and integration of customer-specific vehicle configurations into ENC bus platforms; translate customer specifications into practical engineering solutions compatible with manufacturing capabilities and regulatory requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Program Management, and Manufacturing to support proposals, manage engineering deliverables, ensure buildability, and drive standardization of configurations. Mentor junior engineers and contribute best practices in vehicle applications, with hands-on work in mechanical/electrical systems, 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks), BOMs, and engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with transit vehicle regulations. Onsite engineering role based in Riverside, CA, working across heavy-duty bus/shuttle/cargo vehicle programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5–7 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or transportation environment
