Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer in Test responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites (Playwright) and manual tests to ensure high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities include creating automated test cases and scripts, executing manual tests as needed, generating defect/test reports, tracking defects in Jira, configuring test environments (SW/HW), maintaining requirements traceability matrices, participating in Agile ceremonies, supporting development, UAT, and production environments, and introducing new testing methodologies. Required: BS/MS in CS or equivalent, 3-5 years in software testing, experience with Azure and IoT, knowledge of Payments/POS/EV chargers, proficiency in C#, strong API and Playwright automation, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, maintaining high quality, and staying current with testing technologies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing
- Good understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, IOT technologies etc.
- Knowledge on Payments, POS, EV chargers preferably.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably C#)
- Hands-on experience in test automation (like Playwright) along with strong API automation testing experience
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team and keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goals
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Ability to build trust and maintain relationships across technical and business teams
- Ability to quickly gain domain knowledge, focus on prioritizing opportunities for test automation and build stable and repeatable automation frameworks and scripts
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong teamwork relationships
