Job Summary
Manage and support the engineering function to ensure the department conforms to company quality system procedures. Analyze production methods to meet time and cost goals while providing technical guidance on complex projects. Establish and enforce procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety in product designs. Evaluate improved techniques for controlling product design quality and communicate with design, process, production, and quality functions. Work with customers to ensure products conform to requirements.

- Analyzes production methods to ensure time and cost goals are reached
- Provides technical guidance on most complex projects
- Establishes and enforces procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability and safety in product designs and applications
- Evaluates and develops improved techniques for the control of product designs, quality, reliability and safety
- Works with customers to ensure products conform to their requirements and meet the customers needs
- Implements and maintains design control procedures
- Reports on engineering performance and improvements
- Communicates with other engineering functions including design, process, production and quality
