Job Summary
Diagnose, root-cause, and resolve hardware and firmware issues across Tenstorrent's AI accelerator platforms, including Blackhole, Wormhole, Galaxy systems, and PCIe cards. Analyze failures in power delivery, thermal behavior, GDDR memory, Ethernet/SerDes links, PCIe, and NoC interconnects using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers. Develop debug scripts and automation frameworks in Python and C to accelerate failure analysis and triage. Interpret schematics, datasheets, register states, and telemetry data to uncover complex system issues. Lead silicon, board, and system-level debug efforts to drive solutions from initial discovery through resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on hardware debug engineer

- Strong post-silicon validation and bring-up experience
- Comfortable working in the lab and getting deep into system-level behavior

- Ability to partner effectively with ASIC design, firmware, software, and validation teams
- Post-Silicon Debug Engineer
- Ability to diagnose, root-cause, and resolve hardware and firmware issues
- Experience with Blackhole, Wormhole, Galaxy systems, and PCIe cards
- Ability to lead silicon, board, and system-level debug efforts
- Experience analyzing failures across power delivery, thermal behavior, GDDR memory, Ethernet/SerDes links, PCIe, and NoC interconnects
- Strong programming skills in Python and C
- Ability to develop debug scripts, diagnostic tools, and automation frameworks
- Hands-on lab expertise with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other hardware debug equipment
- Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, register states, telemetry data, and firmware behavior
- Eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology
