Job Summary
Senior Engineer will provide technical engineering support for Transmission and Distribution substation equipment, including design and analysis of substations, transformers, breakers, switches, and oil-filled assets. Responsibilities include evaluating test reports, administering oil sampling/testing programs, integrating online monitoring technologies, supporting emergency/restoration activities, and collaborating with operations, maintenance, and external vendors to ensure data integrity and reliable operation of critical substation equipment. The role involves working both in the office and in the field with occasional travel across MA/CT/NH and participation in storm restoration and emergency duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required
- BSEE degree preferred
- Five (5) years related experience is required for the senior engineer level
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
- A valid driver’s license is required
