Job Summary
Senior software engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying scalable full-stack retail-focused applications using Java back-end with RESTful APIs and microservices, and modern front-end technologies (React, React Native, Angular). Collaborate across engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, ensure high availability in production, write clear documentation, and mentor junior engineers. Role requires hybrid work with a minimum in-office presence (3 days/week) at listed U.S. locations (Bothell, WA; Bellevue, WA; Frisco, TX) and travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management or equivalent
- 5 years of related work experience (or 3 years with advanced degree)
- 4-7 years Technical engineering experience
- Experience with Java, RESTful API design, microservices
- Front-end frameworks: React, React Native, Angular
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end architectures
- Knowledge of back-end retail application development and system integration
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and drive knowledge sharing
- Willingness to travel up to 10% (Travel: Yes)
