Job Summary
Senior Engineer, Quality – Mobile responsible for validating the performance, reliability, and user experience of consumer-facing mobile applications built with React Native across iOS and Android; lead the creation and execution of test plans, drive automation using Detox/Appium/Jest, ensure ADA compliance, lead performance testing initiatives, and support production validation through collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–6 years of experience in mobile QA; 3+ years of mobile QA experience with at least 1 year focused on React Native applications
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and cross-platform development
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for React Native
- Hands-on experience with Detox for end-to-end testing in React Native
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
- Knowledge of mobile analytics and crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase, Sentry)
- Experience with cloud-based device testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
- Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native architecture
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
