Job Summary
Own complete process engineering activities from NPI builds through mass production stabilization in high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing environments. Define, validate, and optimize SMT, PTH, wave solder, and box build processes while leading FAIR validation and engineering documentation. Drive yield improvement, defect reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives using 8D, SPC, and Lean methodologies. Provide technical leadership in mechanical integration, GD&T, and electro-mechanical assembly, collaborating across Design, Quality, and Supply Chain teams. Support seamless production ramp-up and ensure compliance with IPC standards and customer-specific quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (with Electronics Manufacturing experience)
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in SMT Process Engineering
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in PTH / Wave Soldering / Selective Soldering
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Box Build Assembly
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Cable Harness Assembly
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Electro-Mechanical Integration
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Mechanical Assembly Controls
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in FAIR Documentation & Validation
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Process Qualification & Validation
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in IPC Standards & Workmanship Requirements
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Yield Improvement & Process Optimization
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in Engineering Documentation & Change Management
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments preferred
