Job Summary
Senior-level Sr. Engineer responsible for 24/7 NOC-style server monitoring and troubleshooting across Windows Server/Active Directory components, DNS/DHCP, RDS, DFSR, GPOs; manage patching (including Exchange CU updates), Hyper-V/VMware virtualization, backup and DR activities, and incident documentation. Role requires hands-on troubleshooting, proactive performance monitoring, and collaboration with storage, networking, and security teams. Certifications such as MCSE/MCSA or VMware/Azure are preferred; experience in enterprise or managed services environments and ITIL processes is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory services
- Hands-on expertise in server monitoring and alert triage
- Solid knowledge of disk/storage management in Windows environments
- In-depth understanding of Windows patch management and Exchange CU updates
- Experience with Hyper-V clustering and virtual machine management
- Practical experience in backup solutions and disaster recovery
- Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Experience supporting AV and endpoint security tools
- Basic but solid understanding of networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
