Job Summary
Must be willing to work in a 24 x 7 operational support environment with shift rotation and on-call support. The role involves maintaining global collaboration with Micron IT operations teams, managing incidents and problems, vendor case management, maintaining database uptime, and providing database development and deployment support for company projects. Candidates should have solid experience with MSSQL, including troubleshooting, query tuning, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
- Work independently based on mentorship provided by managers
- Ability to work with team members across disciplines under pressure
- Solid skills in decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation
- Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem solving
- Passion and accountability for the environment
- MS SQL - 5 - 8 Years of experience
- Version support for Microsoft SQL server 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022
- Experience in implementing and fixing AlwaysOn
Desired Qualifications
- Powershell knowledge
- Azure cloud knowledge
