Job Summary
Analyze and validate XML/JSON data structures and schemas for accuracy, then write and execute complex SQL queries against PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity. Validate business rules and workflows within insurance systems to align with requirements while identifying inconsistencies and driving resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify expectations and document validation processes, findings, and recommendations. Requires 5–7 years of experience in data validation and SQL, with a preference for Verisk FAST Insurance platform exposure.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in data validation, data analysis, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of XML and JSON structures and schema validation
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (data validation, querying, and analysis)
- Solid knowledge of RDBMS concepts, specifically PostgreSQL
- Experience working with insurance domain workflows and business rules
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proactive mindset with a strong learning attitude and ability to ask the right questions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Verisk FAST Insurance platform or similar insurance policy administration systems
- Exposure to workflow configuration and rule engines in insurance products
- Understanding of end-to-end insurance lifecycle processes
