Job Summary
Understand the LPDRAM state machine and develop hardware models for DRAM features and related validation test benches. Build memory controller models covering request scheduling and address mapping to enable new DRAM capabilities, while creating automation test scripts in Python to refine simulation methodologies. Design system, software, or distributed architectures by identifying required data, hardware, and software components to meet user needs, then communicate specific requirements with staff or clients. Research, test, and verify software patches and fixes, establishing functional or system standards to address operational and design constraints. Evaluate existing systems for effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- C/C++ or Python
- Debugging interfaces, including GDB and PDB
- LPDRAM technology
- Computer Architecture
- Memory controller and Cache policy
- Simulation methodologies
