Lead evaluation testing and development of mechanical and fluid control systems by designing research programs that apply principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science. Perform standard engineering assignments to solve design problems, ensuring successful integration of mechanical entities with electrical and consumable components while utilizing tools like FMEA and finite element analysis. Define protocols to validate safety and effectiveness, manage nonconformities and corrective actions, and transition products to manufacturing with robust processes. Resolve competing constraints across engineering, purchasing, and regulatory functions to deliver optimized designs for production, reliability, and cost. Review direct reports' quality of work and formulate engineering policies aligned with project business objectives.
