Job Summary
Data Engineer with Snowflake and DBT expertise in a hybrid Hyderabad-based role. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data transformations for analytics. Candidates should have 5–7 years of experience in data engineering/warehousing, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and proficiency with Snowflake and DBT. exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD and Git, and workflow orchestration (Airflow). Bachelor’s degree required; certifications in Snowflake/AWS/Azure are a plus. The role emphasizes data governance, security, data quality, collaboration with business and technical teams, and an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5–7 years of overall experience in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts
- Experience in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
- Good to have: Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control tools like Git
- Key responsibilities include design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and pipeline reliability
- Implement best practices for data governance and security
- Support deployment and monitoring of data solutions in cloud environments
- Certifications in Snowflake, AWS, or Azure are a plus
- Experience working in Agile environments
