Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer license preferred or ability to be licensed in Minnesota within 6 months (required)
- 15 years of experience as a Civil Engineer in water resources/stormwater management
- Strong project management skills
- Construction management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong interpersonal/organizational skills
- Flexible working style with ability to modify schedules to meet deadlines/client needs
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows/Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in watershed modeling, stormwater design, pump station design, equipment sizing, civil design drawings, cost opinions (plus)
- Working knowledge of Minnesota stormwater standards and permitting
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoad Design or similar CAD-based civil design software (plus)
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Office-based and occasional outdoor construction-site visits
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to exceed 40 hours per week when required
