Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer leads the engineering execution of wind farm and repower projects as the primary liaison between engineering and project management, supply chain, site teams, customers, and subcontractors. Responsible for fulfilling all equipment and software deliverables and maintaining the digital thread up to commercial operation. Provides technical leadership to project execution and customer-facing teams, ensuring each project phase is delivered with operational rigor. Tasks include translating project requirements into product definitions and BOMs, creating engineering instructions and commissioning documentation, responding to technical inquiries, guiding configuration of control software and interfaces, coordinating resources to deliver engineering deliverables, and driving lessons learned back into design engineering to prevent issues. Travel up to 10% is anticipated; travel arrangements and coordination with customers and field teams are essential to successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science or related field
- 5-10 years engineering and technology experience with strong technical skills and project leadership
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel 10% of the year
