Job Summary
Seasoned Test and Validation engineer responsible for software testing of HVAC/control system software. Independently measure, analyze, and calibrate equipment on medium to large platforms, train junior staff, prepare equipment for testing, and oversee test preparation. Key duties include functional, system, and regression testing based on SRS/PRD, designing and executing manual tests, developing and maintaining automated tests (Python/Pytest, Robot Framework), analyzing defects and driving issue closure, contributing to automated testing rollout, performing quality assessments before releases, producing test reports and quality-risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional and global teams to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, Communications, or related field
- 3-5 years software testing/QA experience
- experience with manual and automated testing
- knowledge of testing processes and defect management
- ability to design test cases and execute tests
- familiarity with automation tools such as Python+Pytest or Robot Framework
