Job Summary
Quality leader driving end-to-end assurance for complex aerospace programs, specializing in AS9100 compliance, risk-based decision-making, and seamless delivery across design, fabrication, EO/IR integration, and testing. Serves as Quality CAM, develops bid estimates, reviews contract deliverables with DCMA, and drives supplier quality improvement while partnering cross-functionally to boost reliability and customer confidence. Practices include failure analysis, root cause analysis, and utilization of quality tools to enable fast, impactful quality improvements across multi-program environments.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102)
- Experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and reviewing technical data packages
- Strong command of quality tools (Pareto analysis, cause‐and‐effect diagrams, process mapping)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Previous experience with optical ISR systems
- Experience with CORE framework or other Continuous Improvement Programs
- Experience with APQP/AS9145 and PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA and Control Plans
- Ability to translate system and contractual requirements into product, assembly, and test documentation
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and in a dynamic team environment
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with customers and suppliers
