Job Summary
Develop highly reliable, real-time software that determines beam formation (user, laser, gateway) to optimize a low-latency, high-bandwidth satellite network. Lead architecture, design, and code reviews; create prototypes to prove key concepts; build tools for software development, deployment, data analysis, visualization, and test execution across virtualized, real hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit environments. Requires strong experience in C/C++, assembly, and real-time systems; familiarity with distributed systems, network topology, optimization, and high-performance computing. Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed. ITAR and export-regulations compliance are required; candidates must meet eligibility criteria. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a dynamic, demanding space-tech environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development with degree
- OR 7+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
- Development experience in assembly, C, or C++
