Job Summary
Lead end-to-end system-level hardware architecture for high-reliability electronics in airborne and space applications, managing design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing. Gather requirements, select components, and create Bills of Materials while designing power architectures and detailed schematics for embedded systems. Develop PCB layouts, interface RFSoC/MPSoC, FPGAs, and MCUs with external peripherals, and coordinate with vendors for fabrication and testing under AS9100 standards. Collaborate with firmware teams for bring-up and debugging, ensuring compliance with quality and reliability standards through comprehensive testing. Maintain technical documentation and work across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering discipline
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience in electronic hardware design, development, and testing
- Strong hands-on experience in schematic capture and PCB layout (single and multilayer boards) using tools such as Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar
- Experience with microcontrollers and SoCs, peripheral interfacing, and communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, PCI-Express, USB, MIPI, LVDS, DDRx and others
- Expertise in power supply design, including SMPS, DC-DC converters, LDOs, PMICs, and battery-operated systems with BMS
- Advanced hardware and firmware debugging skills for effective troubleshooting of embedded system boards
- Hands-on experience in SI, PI, and EMI/EMC–compliant PCB design, covering stack-up planning, impedance control, power distribution and decoupling, grounding strategies, and EMI mitigation techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in designing schematics and layouts for RF circuits, integration for wireless modules is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
