Identify and resolve eligibility discrepancies to avoid delays in billing and reimbursement while handling complex or escalated issues by collaborating with payers and other departments. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior specialists, offering expertise in troubleshooting advanced problems and ensuring team members understand best practices. Work closely with billing, coding, and payer relations teams to address verification issues proactively. Maintain accurate eligibility information in payer systems, stay updated on policy changes to mitigate claim denials, and generate reports on trends and best practices to drive process improvements.
