Job Summary
Design high-performance printed circuit board schematics and layouts, alongside FPGA firmware development for infrared camera systems. Contribute to electrical/electronic system designs by developing new and improved solutions while actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and project meetings. Innovate, develop, capture, and document new intellectual property, including writing product manuals, application notes, and technical papers. This role involves collaborating with senior engineers on advanced thermal and sensing technology projects within a collaborative R&D environment.
Required Qualifications
- at least a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- at least 5 years of PCB design experience
- FPGA firmware design/development experience
- BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Experience with Altium Designer
- PCBA design tools
- Altera Quartus FPGA design tools
- Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence)
- Perforce
- Experience using Microsoft Office Tools
- Good problem-solving, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce
