Job Summary

Senior Space Electronics Engineer focused on designing and analyzing high-performance space-grade electronics. Responsibilities include designing custom high-speed digital electronics (ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, communications drivers), designing and analyzing analog circuits (low-noise signal conditioning, power amplifiers), supporting product development and R&D, collaborating with peers and management to meet program requirements within time and budget constraints, supporting electronics manufacturing and testing, and contributing to design verification and documentation. Requirements include a Master’s degree in electrical engineering with 8+ years (or a Bachelor's with 10+ years) of related experience, US citizenship, ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance, and proficiency with electrical design tools (Altium, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, HyperLynx, MS Office). Preference for experience with space qualification standards, space product electronics, PCB manufacturing/assembly, IPC standards, leadership of small teams, and development of test equipment and ICD/DDD documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering with 8 years' experience or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in design, analysis, integration, and test of custom electronics can be considered instead of a master's degree
  • US citizen
  • Experience designing high speed digital electronics including the use of ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communications drivers
  • Experience designing and conducting analysis of analog circuits including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools (such as Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, HyperLynx, and MS Office)
  • Ability to conduct circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability
  • Desired qualifications include space qualification standards, space product electronics, PCB manufacturing and assembly processes, board layout, IPC standards, leadership of small teams, test equipment design, ICD/DDD/Test documentation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance

  • ITAR/EAR compliance; US Person required; some positions require current U.S. Citizenship
