Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer lead responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. Lead development of circuit card assemblies, oversee wiring design practices, conduct comprehensive testing/validation, troubleshoot complex circuits, develop high-level designs and test plans, perform design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to process improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, ability to travel up to 10%, and eligibility to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance. Office or hybrid work environment in Plano, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related role
- Expert proficiency in electrical/electronic design and validation techniques
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Progressive experience in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Experience analyzing and interpreting electrical/electronic system federal rules and regulations including EWIS
- Understanding of FMEA and SSA concepts
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business needs
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
