Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer for Collins Aerospace Vision and Sensor Systems focused on digital hardware design. Responsibilities include designing high-reliability electronic circuits for commercial and military avionics, capturing requirements with Jama, developing hardware architectures, performing detailed design and schematic creation, guiding circuit-card layout, conducting functional testing and integration of circuit-card prototypes, providing integration and manufacturing support, and overseeing less-experienced designers. Required qualifications include a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (advanced degree with 3+ years acceptable); Siemens EDA Xpedition and multi-gigabit digital links are preferred. Must be onsite in Wilsonville, OR, with a salary range of $86,800 to $165,200 per year. Benefits and relocation considerations may apply.
Required Qualifications
- STEM degree
- minimum 5 years relevant experience OR Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience
- digital hardware design experience
- experience with circuit design, analysis, schematic creation, and layout
- experience with high-reliability electronic circuits for avionics
- prefer Siemens EDA Xpedition Design and Layout
