Job Summary
Senior E&E Hardware Engineer responsible for the engineering development of HVAC power electronics hardware, including power stage and power board design, IGBT application and gate driver design, derating, thermal analysis, and EMC evaluation. Uses circuit simulation and hardware design tools (PSIM, Cadence, Altium) for schematic/PCB layout, hardware design documentation (Schematic, PCB, DFMEA), and demo board testing. Requires a bachelor-level degree in Electronics/Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics and more than 3 years of power electronics hardware development experience. Carrier’s HVAC hardware team aims to deliver robust, safe, and innovative power electronics for building systems; the role involves design, analysis, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement within a diverse, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or above Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, etc.
- More than 3 years power electronics hardware development or related experience
