Job Summary
Answer calls and create work orders to coordinate truck driver schedules and manage daily deliveries. Optimize routes in real-time using mapping software and systems to monitor unit locations while resolving conflicts and addressing urgent issues. Act as the communication hub between drivers, clients, and suppliers, relaying vital information via radio, phone, and computer. Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, driver logs, and operational records by logging calls and updating databases.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proficiency with radio
- Proficiency with phone systems
- Proficiency with dispatch software (TMW, People Net, JDA)
- Proficiency with mapping tools
