Sr. Director, Technology and Product UX

Senior Director, Technology and Product UX leads the combined Technical Product Management and UX organization, owning the roadmap and agile delivery for Veracyte’s enterprise technology platforms and lab/workflow–driven experiences. Responsibilities include building and coaching high-performing Product and UX teams, translating complex clinical and operational workstreams into executable product requirements (PRDs, epics, user stories, and design mocks), shaping multi-quarter technology strategy, and partnering with software engineering, QA/regulatory, security, privacy, and clinical stakeholders. The role emphasizes designing AI-native data systems for bioinformatics and clinical development, ensuring quality-by-design in a regulated environment, and aligning product delivery with lab workflows and results systems. The candidate will collaborate across locations/time zones (San Diego, San Francisco, and remote) to deliver patient- and provider-facing digital experiences with measurable outcomes, balancing speed, resource stewardship, and healthcare compliance while fostering an inclusive, high-trust culture.
