Job Summary
Senior leadership role leading Global Executive Recruiting for Gilead. Responsible for setting strategy for the executive recruiting function, partnering with Sourcing, HRBP, and business leaders, and building a best-in-class COE. Leads direct and dotted-line reports, develops talent pipelines in collaboration with Inclusion & Diversity, Sourcing, and business leaders, and manages relationships with external executive search partners. Emphasizes leadership, talent development, diversity, and inclusion, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-impact recruitment across a global, matrixed organization. Located in Foster City, CA, with hybrid work arrangement (onsite 3 days/week).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred
- 12+ years of recruiting experience including people leadership at scale OR Bachelor’s with 14+ years of recruiting experience including people leadership at scale
- experience managing multifunction and multilocation talent acquisition organizations in a matrixed organization (preferred)
- executive recruiting experience in life sciences or biopharma (preferred)
- demonstrated success in developing and implementing executive recruitment strategies for large, dispersed populations
