Sr. Director, Service Technology and NPDi

Job Summary
Sr. Director, Service Technology and NPDi leads global service readiness strategy, embeds serviceability into NPDI programs, and drives the development of next-generation service technologies. This role partners with OEMs, startups, and universities to pilot and scale capabilities, manages budgets and ROI, and leads a global team across Services, Product, Engineering, Digital, and Supply Chain to deliver lifecycle revenue growth and digital service adoption. It requires extensive cross-functional leadership, experience with NPDI processes, and a strong background in service technology and operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related field; Master's/MBA strongly preferred
- 15+ years in service operations, technology, or product development; 10+ years in progressive leadership roles
- Global leadership experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple regions
- Experience with NPD/NPDI processes and stage-gate methodologies
- Track record in digital transformation, service technology, or innovation leadership
- Experience in critical infrastructure, data center, or power/cooling industries preferred
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies a plus
- PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Standard office environment; ability to travel globally
- TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED: 25% - 50% (global travel required)
- WORK AUTHORIZATION: No sponsorship; must be legally authorized to work in the United States
