Sr Director Regulatory Affairs

Job Summary
Oversee Tampa Electric’s regulatory rate and compliance activities, develop rate proposals and strategy, direct witness selection and testimony preparation, monitor FPSC and FERC filings, and lead regulatory policy development across FPSC, FERC, and other agencies. Lead the preparation of petitions, data requests, interrogatories, and exhibits; coordinate with attorneys and business units; serve as a regulatory expert witness and provide updates to senior leadership. Manage stakeholder communications, ensure adherence to regulatory rules, and coordinate storm-duty requirements and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, legal, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or business
- Minimum of ten years of regulatory experience and/or experience in industry structure, utility finance and accounting practices, ratemaking practices, legal and regulatory processes
- 4 years experience in a supervisory capacity
- Preferred: Graduate level degree or professional certification
