Sr Director, Real Estate Asset Management

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day asset management of a multifamily and office portfolio across the greater Philadelphia region, driving operational execution and performance accountability. Collaborate with the Investments team to establish operating budgets and implement asset-level strategies, while partnering with third-party property managers to oversee expense control and business plan execution. Evaluate and oversee capital expenditures, renovations, and value-add initiatives, managing scope definition, budgeting, vendor selection, and project delivery to ensure on-time, on-budget results. Provide real-time operational insights to inform investment decisions and support due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions. Manage staff, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, while maintaining visibility into student housing and minority investments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Major in Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in real estate asset management, real estate investments, property operations, or related roles
- Experience with multifamily and/or office assets
- Experience working alongside investment teams or within joint venture structures is a plus
- Strong experience in real estate asset management with an emphasis on execution and property-level operations
- Knowledge of real estate transactions and portfolio management
- Experience working directly with third-party property managers and vendors
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and execute capital projects and asset-level initiatives
- Solid financial acumen, including ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics in coordination with Investments team
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative environment while maintaining accountability for execution
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
