Sr. Director, Product Management - Patient Access Technology

Job Summary
Define product vision and roadmap for Patient Access, Adherence, and Affordability solutions, acting as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders, operations, and technology leadership. Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing requirements gathered from internal teams and external clients to ensure alignment with strategic goals and patient-centric outcomes. Serve as the primary liaison for agile development, ensuring clear user stories and feedback loops while representing UBC in executive client meetings, bid defenses, and governance forums. Collaborate with finance, marketing, and data teams to refine go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and real-world evidence integration. Evaluate client commitments for scope, feasibility, and regulatory impact before finalization, and sponsor business cases for technology and AI governance reviews. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to drive continuous product improvement and maintain market relevance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or patient support services
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Certification as a Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
- Familiarity with specialty pharmacy services, patient access programs, or affordability solutions (e.g., copay cards, patient assistance programs)
- Ability to make difficult product decisions and prioritize features based on business value
- Experience with backlog management and user story writing
- Excellent skills in translating complex business needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to balance technical constraints, business priorities, and regulatory requirements
