On-site · San Francisco, California, United States or Dallas, Texas, United States
Job Summary
Lead the strategy, development, and operations of the enterprise Cloud Platform across Azure and GCP. Define multi-cloud platform strategy, evolve shared services (networking, identity, compute, storage, observability), own API gateway and Istio service mesh, and partner with Security/Compliance. Drive modern CI/CD, GitOps, and DevEx as a first-class product with self-service tooling and golden paths. Establish platform adoption metrics and align with DORA benchmarks. Spearhead IaC practices with Terraform, standardize DevOps toolchains, and ensure automated testing, drift detection, and compliance. Own observability strategy with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and cloud-native monitoring; manage Kafka-based event streaming. Lead FinOps governance, cost dashboards, and budget forecasting. Build and scale a high-performing platform engineering organization and foster ownership, blameless incident learning, and career growth. Partner with product, security, and enterprise architecture to align platform capabilities with business priorities.
