Job Summary
Senior Director, Plant Controller leads plant-level finance across multiple transformer manufacturing facilities, overseeing a team of plant controllers, driving cost accounting, BOM costing, and operational finance while ensuring GAAP/SOX compliance and strong internal controls. Partners with plant and corporate leadership to deliver timely financial reporting, identify cost reduction opportunities, and support strategic investments. Requires a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of manufacturing finance leadership, ERP experience (NetSuite, Syteline, etc.), advanced Excel, and travel 20–30%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership in manufacturing
- Strong background in cost accounting and multi-site plant finance management
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Willingness to travel 20–30% to support plant locations
