Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Patient Access oversees operations and outcomes of access initiatives across the organization, including optimization and management of call center teams. This role requires a strategic leader to enhance patient access by implementing effective policies and procedures, developing patient access strategies, and maintaining high patient satisfaction. Essential skills include strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, as well as experience with Epic systems. The position demands collaboration with various departments to improve service quality and adapt workflows accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in an ambulatory patient access leadership role
- Epic Cadence certified
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and customer service metrics
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows applications
