Job Summary
Sr Director of Operations at an on-site airport facility leading a regional facility management team and shaping annual strategy, budgeting, and reporting. Responsible for client relationship management with the on-site leadership, coordinating vendors and subcontractors to meet KPIs and SLAs, overseeing budgeting and capital/expense planning, and leading safety and environmental programs. Day-to-day focus includes relationship management (40-60%), people management (20-40%), strategic planning with senior leadership, executive reporting, and collaboration across internal teams and external suppliers to drive operational excellence. Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Facilities Management, 7+ years in facility management, strong MS Office skills, and proven leadership and communication abilities. On-site role located in Atlanta, GA; visa sponsorship not available. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
- Minimum 7 years of facility management experience including knowledge of building systems, mechanical/electrical systems, architectural maintenance, and instrumentation/automation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong organizational and management skills with ability to multitask and work both independently and in teams
- Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills in a dynamic work environment
- Outstanding business writing and verbal communication abilities with strong analytical skills
- Detail-oriented approach with proven success working with subcontractors/vendors on mutual safety objectives
- MBA degree (Preferred)
