Job Summary
The Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing & Components is responsible for developing and executing the global sourcing strategy for EnerSys, leading sourcing for raw materials, components, indirect materials, and capital equipment. This role involves establishing supplier partnerships, optimizing the global supply chain, and driving strategic alignment with business growth plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 12–15+ years of progressive global supply chain leadership experience in high-tech, advanced manufacturing, EV, battery, semiconductor, or similar industries
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level sourcing strategies with multimillion- to multibillion-dollar spend responsibility
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex long-term agreements, capital equipment contracts, and global category strategies
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate at C-suite level and influence cross-functional leadership teams
- Experience managing global teams and driving high-impact supplier partnerships
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or technical equivalent)
- Deep experience in lithium-ion battery materials, components, and/or gigafactory operations
- Expertise in capital equipment sourcing and factory-scale manufacturing readiness
- Demonstrated experience building new supply chains in emerging or rapidly growing industries
