Job Summary
Cultivate relationships with synagogues and Jewish institutions across Long Island to expand BBYO's reach and identify new teen pipelines for existing chapters. Build collaboration strategies with key agencies, drive fundraising goals focused on increasing current donor gifts and expanding the prospect pipeline, and work directly with teens to plan exclusive, high-impact experiences that grow membership. Reimagine entry-point programming and coach teens to implement annual calendars of high-quality programs, while curating unique access-driven initiatives like influencer engagements to drive recruitment. Collaborate with regional teams and JCC Chapter Specialists to ensure complementary programming and support International Convention or Movement-wide initiatives as assigned. This role requires 5-7 years of experience in Jewish programming and fundraising, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel regularly, including two to three weeks at a remote summer location each year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5-7 years of work experience
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship
- Must reside in the Long Island area
- Willing and able to travel regularly within the region
- Ability to travel to organization-wide events such as International Convention, Staff Conference, and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the U.S. for 2-3 weeks each summer
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends) when teens are available
