Sr. Director of Marketing, Undercover Tourist

Job Summary
Lead the marketing organization for Undercover Tourist, owning the overall marketing strategy, annual planning, and P&L with the autonomy to drive growth. Guide paid media, SEO, email, SMS, and creator/influencer programs, and shape partnerships with key theme park brands to unlock co-op opportunities. Develop and execute a differentiated brand and content strategy, ensuring consistency across web, email, social, and partner channels while optimizing campaign performance and ROI. Build and mentor a high-performing team, establish clear goals and accountability, and foster a data-driven culture of experimentation to accelerate customer acquisition and retention in a fast-moving e-commerce environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with demonstrated success owning marketing strategy, budget, and P&L in a direct-to-consumer and e-commerce environment
- Proven performance marketing expertise across paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), SEO, email, and SMS
- Hands-on experience managing large-scale media budgets and optimizing for CPA and ROAS
- Experience building and managing creator and influencer programs, including partner identification, contract negotiation, campaign management, and ROI measurement
- Strong brand and content strategy instincts, with the ability to craft differentiated positioning and ensure brand consistency
- Ability to lead, develop, and inspire marketing teams, coaching talent, and building a data-driven experimentation culture
- Experience managing co-op marketing partnerships and negotiating joint promotional opportunities with major consumer brands or entertainment partners; familiarity with the theme park or travel industry is a strong plus
- Advanced analytical capability with GA4, attribution modeling, customer analytics, and performance reporting
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic and tactical execution in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills with experience presenting strategy and performance to senior leadership and external partners
