Job Summary
Lead all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, oversee compensation and benefits administration, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations. Manage employee performance processes, maintain accurate HR systems, and partner with leadership on organizational initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture. This mission-driven higher education institution in Boston seeks an experienced professional to shape the employee experience across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of human resources experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in nonprofit or higher education environments preferred
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while partnering closely with senior leadership
